Join the BU French Cultural Society as we celebrate Mardi Gras ‘Nawlins’ style with live musical guest Jeremy Lyons and the Deltabilly Boys. Lyons’ band is a favorite of the New Orleans club circuit and a mainstay at the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Lyons himself is a displaced Hurricane Katrina refugee now living in Cambridge. All proceeds from the event benefit the NOLA Arts Fund, a Cambridge-based organization helping to rebuild the colorful street-musician tradition in the Crescent City. As part of the celebration, we will be collecting donations, in exchange for beads, January 30 through February 4 in the GSU Link, and at the door the day of the event. The top bead collectors will be named king/queen of Mardi Gras. Did I mention door prizes as well.When
